About

This is Me

Hi there! My name is Kaia Schindlbeck and I have been a certified speech and language pathologist for over 13 years. My bachelor’s degrees are in Psychology and Sociology. After graduating, I worked exclusively with children on the Autism Spectrum in schools and in their homes. I then returned to school and received simultaneous master’s Degrees in Communication Disorders, as well as Human Development & Childhood Disorders.

Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including outpatient hospital clinics, schools, and in-home early intervention. However, the majority of my time (11 years) has been spent in multidisciplinary clinics. Working alongside other disciplines has allowed me to continue refining my ability to see the child as a whole, rather than solely through the lens of a speech and language pathologist.

My approach incorporates my past experiences collaborating with occupational, physical, and mental health therapists, my comprehensive education, and raising my own neurodiverse child. All these experiences help me connect with, understand, and support children and their families.

Personally, my loves include: coffee, being in nature, and of course, my family and friends. I look forward to meeting you!

See you at the SPOT!
